Working with the GCPU

We've been privaleged to work with the team at the Glasgow Child Protection Unit in collaboration with the artist Alexander Hamilton. It's been sobering work but a wonderful opportunity to bring interaction design into the world of clinical environments and really make a difference to the patient experience.

We've created the connected PodPlay's, bespoke objects which enable a child controlled multimodal experience using, audio, projection and interactive lighting to create personalised, engaging but non-stimulating (in a clinical sense) roomscapes. These follow the child around the space giving them a touch point of familiarty and comfort.
